After witnessing the murder of his wife at the hands of a demon, John Winchester begins a journey into the dark world of the supernatural, seeking a way to hunt down and kill the creature that took his wife
It is a six issue limited series prequel comic book CW series Supernatural.
It is published by Wildstorm, a company under the DC Comics umbrella.
The series explains how John Winchester raises his children, Sam and Dean, to become "Hunters" of spirits and demons.
